Sarah Rachel Lazarus is an actress, comedian, writer, producer, and self described ‘bagel on a plate full of onion rolls.’ She is a graduate of the Fordham University theatre performance program. Born and raised in South Florida, she started doing comedy and performing at the age of 10 and hasn't stopped since. In addition to her training at Fordham, she has attended Stella Adler, The Atlantic Acting Studio, and Stagedoor Manor.
Over the past few years, she has been seen in many cabarets and comedy clubs around NYC including Union Hall, Club Cumming, Feinstein's/54 Below, Birdland, QED, Don't Tell Mama, The Metropolitan Room, and The Green Room 42, etc.
She is a certified contributor for Funny Or Die, contributor for the "Broadway Beat,” and has been featured on Elizabeth Banks’ Whohaha many times. She has clowned around in NYC at the The PIT and the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Sarah hosts a comedy/pop culture podcast where she interviews iconic celebrity guests and discusses all of the most random things you've always wanted to know more about... Previous guests have included Bob The Drag Queen(Ru Paul's Drag Race, Comedy Central), Carole Baskin (Tiger King), Laura Bell Bundy(Tony Award Nominee), Daniel Franzese(Mean Girls), Kimberly J. Brown (Halloweentown), Brittany Broski (Kombucha Girl, Social Media Influencer),Peppermint, Miz Cracker, and many more fabulous people.
Right after she graduated college... She produced, wrote, and starred in a SAG-AFTRA digital series pilot called A Sip With Vodka: A Russian Guide To Becoming A Real Housewife & Making It In America. The cast featured Thorgy Thor, Phi Phi Ohara (Ru Paul’s Drag Race), Paige Turner (Bravo), and Alison Fraser (Tony Award Nominee).
When she’s not performing, she’s writing satirical political PSA’s featuring famous drag queens for organizations like ‘The Florida Democratic Party,’ ‘March On,’ and ‘The Future Coalition.’
